Heavy medium density sorting is an ideal process for separating automotive crushing materials (Zorba), which is a single barrel dual density process developed from the dual barrel dual density process. As the name suggests, single barrel dual density divides a barrel into two independent compartments, each using a medium of different density. One machine can achieve two-step material separation into the following products: lightweight materials composed of aluminum material in front of the furnace, copper zinc mixture, and magnesium material (containing magnesium alloy, rubber, and sawdust). The installation and operation costs of a single barrel dual density sorting system are significantly lower than those of a dual barrel dual density system. This process uses a mixture of water and ferrosilicon as the separation medium.
Obtain the finished product:
Low density: magnesium alloys and other lightweight materials such as rubber, plastic, and wood;
Medium to high density: aluminum;
High density: copper, zinc, stainless steel.
